If I were your brother-in-laws friend, I'd take some
winnings off the table... but that's just me, conservative
by nature.

However, the remaining amount would stay tied up in the
market.... still a healthy sum of money. I can't think
of a better managed company than Dell to keep the
lions share of my investment dollars in.

Putting ones money in a stock personifies RISK. I don't
think people need a lesson on that. Dell is no riskier than
any other stock... in fact I think it is less risky due to
their superb management, superior business model and upside
potential for market share gains in a growing market.

By selling Dell, and moving the proceeds into another stock,
are you suggesting that an investor would reduce risk?
