Neocon, anyone who feels the need to call everyone who doesn't support this war a racist. Should have the courage and strength of their convictions to join up and help. If I truly believed Milosovic was another Hitler threatening the planet. I would drop what I'm doing and help end his rein of terror immediately! I would go down to the Army recruiters office tomorrow and sign up. We saw that happen to millions of Americans during WW2. They believed in the threat to America and the world, so they volunteered to sign up and help in any way they could.

The truth is Milosivic is no-where near a Hitler. And to suggest he is, and use words like atrocities, genocide etc. Reduces the horror that was Hitler. Along with the pain millions of jews and others went through. Killing nearly 30 million people and attempting to control the entire world with your army is quite a bit different than what Milosovic has done in recent past.

Does that make Milosovic a good guy? Of course not. He's an evil man, who has no qualms about torturing his fellow countrymen in order to gain control of the region. But he's just another two-bit dictator who's been living in a racist society.

To suggest it shows courage and leadership to stand up and shout to America's young men and woman. This guy is Hitler! He's over that hill, now go get him guys! Is pathetic at best.

Neocon, you have a habit of wanting to play politician on these threads while looking for holes in everyones argument. That's fine with me, your thoughts are usually well thought out. But like most politicians of our day, passion is missing from your posts. When I foresee our soldiers and sailors about to die for a cause that is not in America's interest. I feel passionate, as everyone American should!

The pathetic lands of Yugoslovia don't deserve ONE young American's life! The Civil war there has been raging on and off for hundreds of years. When you discard the inflamed talk of Hitler, genocide, etc. etc. The arguments for our involvement are pathetically weak.

This war isn't about humanitarian relief for Yugoslavia. If it were the promoters of the war would be concerned about the innocent lives being killed by our bombs.

This war is about saving Clinton's legacy. Nothing more, nothing less. That's why you mostly see the same people defending this war, that defended Clinton over the scandals and behavior in the oval office.

If our young people now need to die for Clinton and his war mongering minions in order to save his pathetic legacy, then I will grieve deeply.

Michael
