Well that one was a lot more substantial.

I watch the network mostly for the ticker, but as I have said, there are a lot of personalities I like on the network, particularly Kernan, Haines, and Insana. And I think Faber has matured despite his tendencies that you describe of getting a little too fired up about a scoop.

I don't expect CNBC to be error free, but I don't expect them to freak out if you call attention to an error either. It would be nice if they did issue a correction every once in a while.

Is it just me or is Ron Insana much more scarce lately?

Gary, maybe she could expand the "pounding the table" cliche.

I mean, there are various degrees of "pounding the table".

For example, what if she went...

"...Merrill's pounding the table like a whiney little kid mad about being grounded from watching the syndicated action series 'Renegade', starring Lorenzo Lamas"

"...Morgan's pounding the table with their shoe in a manner similar to the unforgettable theatrics of Soviet Premier Nikita Krushchev at the U.N...."

(which could be condensed down to "pulling a Krushchev")

"...Robbie Stephens is pounding the table on techs stocks - eight pounds of new research notes regurgitating previously held commentary just this morning alone..."

If the NYSE ever decided to move the AOL post ("the post here to my left"), I bet you'd hear her do the same thing for whatever big name they put in its place.

Good trading,

Tom
