I just received a hardcopy letter from Schwab saying that after careful consideration, my cmgi shares are no longer marginable, and that they are moving them from my margin account to my cash account (!). Apparently, there is no change in policy for the amzn or ebay in my the same account....

Does not give me a real secure feeling about cmgi's current valuation, the near-term prospects for this stock and my other internet holdings, or the near-term prospects for the stock market in general....

But I am in it for the long haul. These stocks have been too good to me, these companies are just too solid, and the internet revolution continues full steam ahead.

Remaining long cmgi, amzn, aol, athm, ebay, gnet, rnwk, yhoo no matter what.

Thanks for the silknet info, judith. Agree that about its low profile so far.

Regards, Rob

Judith,

What is CMGI's interest in Silknet? How big a position?

TIA
