Apparently baiting Ditchdigger and others negative on the stock is a lot more appealing to people today than helping to thrash out and develop a concept of what Online Services is. There are many, many computer people out there on the thread with professional knowledge of web site design. Jump in here! Tell us what your informed opinion is. Has John Hwang hit on a blockbuster idea? Is John Hwang living in a fantasy world? Perhaps you work for a corporation that has opened a storefront web site. How did it go? Are the costs cited for in-house development close? Would your company hire TSIG? It sure is nice to sit back and read all those warm and fuzzy posts telling how great things are going to be. In reality, there is a lot of work to do. Why not throw your 2 cents worth in? Regards, Suzanne

Suzanne,

Those numbers reflect great savings to clients in enlisting the services such as those offered by Hwang's division as opposed to establishing (purchasing) such online functions themselves. Not to mention your pointing out the revenue to TSIG.

Tsig.com will set up the web site for a one-time fee of $99,000 and for a monthly maintenance fee of $25,000. That is equal to revenue of $400,000 the first year and recurring income of $300,000 for succeeding years per customer.

Also, as this would be a lease, the client would have the tax write-off rather than a capital expenditure.

With the move to include an internet presence or totally away from physical storefronts, an all-encompassing service package such as available from TSIG is and will continue to be in demand.

In this article, they say their products won't be available for another year. Hwang's division is ready now.

Reflective of the here-to-stay future of how and where business will be conducted, IMHO.
