I know Quitman. And Harmony. There's an old family cemetery there. My father's grandfather had a house in Quitman in the '20s. In the Civil War, that's the town from where a number of my relatives enlisted. You ought to e-mail me your last name, I'll see if my dad knows it. Quitman once was a big lumber town, kind of died out after the yellow long-leaf pine was all logged out.

Is Cross Plains anywhere near El Paso? My mom grew up in a little town outside of El Paso.
