JLA--- The good news is the eagerness with which the rising elite has come to the States for an education, and the way in which it has affected even those who had to stay in China to go to university. It may be that the succeeding generation will understand and sympathize with the States even more than the Japanese, somewhat like the leaders of the Congress Party in India being British in education.
