According to the Red Herring Magazine, May 1999 issue, 10 bulletproof Internet stocks "even if the market suffers a meltdown"... You guessed it. No.2 stock is Infospace. Check page 52. Other nine stocks, to be fair to the magazine, you need to buy the magazine at the newsstand. Don't know, whether their website gives the list free. The Editor of the magazine is a regular guest on Fridays, 7:30 PM EST, Digital Jam CNN-fn channel. The magazine has a write up on the INSP CEO in their 1997 article.
