J.P.- There is oil in sand at lower( 2000 ft+) levels in Montana ( Under Alberta ) So, too, why can there not be a layer under Marum that is not that far from Fort McMurray? It is a question of exploration and discovery at this point. Birch Mountain has shown that with their near surface JV with Shell-Syncrude this past year of the $100 Mill Exploration Program. I am not saying that MMU and BMD are the same as the Montana one I follow at who is drilling for oil in Montana ( ABRG ) but some read of the website at
