Bob: Yes, I saw and taped the interview which will bring me to the part of the story which Dow Jones missed.

Dauvin said the chip equipment market for DRAM and memory manufacture will "clearly start to boom during the second half" of 1999 in light of capacity and supply coming into balance in this quarter.

Dauvin has not changed his view about supply and demand coming into balance in the next few months. This is key in light of the DRAM pricing situation which is already priced into these stocks IMO.

Furthermore, he downplayed DRAM importance in this cycle (as did BBRS) as there are other new application drivers.
