Why do you need a long 5-bagger to do it? I bought gnet initally at around 70, again 110, 130, 145 and finally 164 and sold out in the 170's somewhere. The acct started with 17K and now theres 80K in there (I put 30K into priceline and made another 9K on that though). But I was long + max margin a second tier stock and I would never have done that with serious money no way, and besides you are correct gnet float issues were also responsible for the rise, there is no way to buy much. I could have made more but gnet is a 50% margin requirement. My Roth ira is the same thing with dclk, I got lucky with that one because dclk is a quality holding but most are not. I'm looking at Marimba as maybe another one that could go up, again not a long term core holding stock but to make $$ with a 20Kinvestment, maybe?
