To be honest I don't really expect any Y2K meltdown....9/9/99 or 1/1/00. I think it is a way for the government to be able to pop the internet bubble and correct this out of control stock market without having to pick one person to blame(Alan Greenspan or some important analysist or a President turning Kosovo into a REAL war with ground troops and dead Americans and stock market crashing stuff like that). There is more to Y2K than we understand. It is not just a computer problem...it is a way for the government to fufill some objectives all at once...with no one to blame but technology
