Many thanks for updating / correcting my understanding / misunderstanding of GDP growth and CPI quality.

I must have some bond trader genes or something. ;-)

Re the last 4 quarter data series. Might that not reflect some seasonal or one time volatility in food and energy prices.

i.e. Oil went from almost $10 a barrel to over $18. Food such as fresh fruit / vegetables during winter isn't known for being a bargain, etc.

In any case, the DataQuest / IDC surveys indicate that Dell grew by 50% during the last quarter (ending March 31st). Dell has indicated that April has been a torrid month for growth.

I think we're going to see some impressive performance during the next month. But I hope the bears take another $5 or so off the share price. I'd like to sell another round of PUTs. :-)
