Susan, the Summer Long port is somewhat of a work in progress, unlike Long Port 1 or 2 that are set in stone. I am trying to find the right combination BEFORE the music stops. . .past few weeks has been the extended play version. . . market is on a swing set. . .internets to high PE leaders to cyclicals back to internets back to cyclicals. . . .So I am now working on the combination that TRANSCENDS these particular swings. . .a sort of hedge fund, if you will. . .

I don't think we have seen the last of this game. . . My findings should not affect the Long 1 or 2 in any way. . . the Summer port is an "alternative" and has not yet been settled. I will post when I am more confident in the choices made for weathering the 'cyclical rotations', mutual fund shot-in-the-arm, market manipulation or whatever you want to call it.

. . . .LONG PORTFOLIO 1.1 has outperformed the original Long Port 1.0. . .

The original Long Port 1.0 was the one with 40 stocks created on Dec. 9, 1998 . . . it is currently up 147 percent. . .and has been taking a big hit the past week, as internets are retreating.

Since editing, Long Port 1.0 Winter '98 is in two parts:
Pt. 1: techstocks.com
Pt. 2: techstocks.com

The newer Long Portfolio 1.1 "April Alternative" was spun off from the original. . .http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/qport-5944069
The value was kept, and it is calculated from the original base of 1381.00. During the month of April, many changes were made during evenings, to adjust it to reflect current rotations and include more current positions. On each day of adjustment, the "current value" was maintained through trades. Today 230.63 was sold [ADPT, AXC, CMIC, DMIC, IFCI, ORCTF, SIEB] . . .and approx the same was bought [DBRSY, ROSI, HRBC, MI, TUNE, PVII].

The Long Portfolio 1.1 as of today's close was up 164 percent since it's inception and transferrance. . . up about 1.5 pct on the day. Again, Long Portfolio 1.1 is a work in progress and may be changed as is seen fit.

Long Portfolio 2.0 "Spring '99" is up 31.08 percent since it was created on March 24, 1999. . . Down 0.45 pct today. techstocks.com

Have fun all. . .
