But like I said, it's cost and speed of rollout that are going to count. And services. That's an important point made in the article. Even at higher cost, the broader range of services available from DSL providers may make that a compelling option for some customers. In the area where the article was written -- Seattle -- DSL rollout has been faster, but at a premium price. It will be interesting to see if both services begin to do better when both are available in the same place (which should happen here next year when the outfit still branded as TCI finally finishes their upgrades).
