That explains the comments on Friday and over the weekend from McNamee and others.
What comments? I feel lost here.

The comments that struck me the most were McNamee's comments on WSW on Friday. He's usually circumspect on net stocks and has made a mountain of $$ on them, but I was shocked to hear him say it could be "pretty ugly" referring to an internet stock correction. This is not the statement of someone who is fully invested on the long side. McNamee might be the top VC in the country.

And at the same time the Barron's "Retailer Amazon.com Shares Worth 25 at Most"

A coincidentally concerted effort, indicitive of lots of conclusions among cognisetti. I.e., the "club" has sold.
