I don't feel foolish at all. I guess when the report says that marketing and sales expenses are PRIMARILY for marketing and sales and that warehouse operations are included that this REALLY means that the warehouse operation expenses are actually MORE than the marketing and sales expenses. How could I be so stupid. Duh. Wayne, Amazon wants to mislead and you are an easy target. They did not lie. They simply meant to say that we grouped all activities into marketing and the average Joe will assume that was advertising. The trick word was "sales." They saud marketing and sales. You can't sell if you to have have people to place the inventiry in boxes, a place to do the work and operating expenses such as electricity and toilet paper for the employess. Most firms would have a line item for Advertising, G & A and operating expenses. On that note, you owe me dinner. You arne not a welcher I hope. Glenn
