I agree ... E-Machines are todays Pacard Hells... it wont be long till the owners get totally frustrated and start looking for something better. DELL will be happy to take their orders!

<< I have also heard about the "quality" of the E-machines. A friend who runs an ISP says they are using obsolete or rejected modems ($5 each cost basis) and users need much assistance from the ISP. >>

Karen: Thanks for sharing. IMHO, this emachine company will not challenge DELL. When the truth about emachine's quality and service is widely known, they will be scrambling to stay in business. DELL does not want to compete for "the bottom" of the market -- and for good reasons. Michael Dell would tell you he would only sell machines that he would be proud to use. I wonder if the emachine CEO can say the same thing <GG>...!!!

Best Regards,

Scott

Thanks Karen, the eMachine guy will be out of business in couple of years in all likelihood. Remember Packard Bell sold cheap PCs and gained market share once and look what it got them, they never made any money though, probably same fate will befall these guys. Now they have competition also you know,Microworkz and couple of other guys,Packard Bell didn't even have much competition then but still couldn't make it.As they say in Brooklyn 'forgit'bout it'.<vbg>
