G6 is a very powerful system and the blurbs that have been coming out over the weekend have not hit on a lot of the details as the CMOS based mainframe product family evolves using IBM's latest technology. It will ship in volume later in May and through June. IBM can sell as many as they can make and they will make quite a few. The third quarter will also be strong. If the Y2K issue starts to wind down and there is anything near a regular fourth quarter this will be a year for the record books.
