This one reminds me of the time your mother in law was just arriving and you informed us were wearing your infamous pret-a-porter feather boa thong under your choir robe. Amazing what one can get under a choir robe. My worst memory of a choir robe was having a solo back in the high school choir Spring Concert (Chim Chim Chiree as it happens) and finishing, stepping backwards up onto the lowest platform of those little multi-level bleacher thingies we all stood on on the stage, and tumbling backwards in a heap because I'd managed to park my heel right on the back of the damnable robe. Have never worn one since.
