"I have never done DD on a daytrading stock...if it has MOMO and has "some worth" I
will trade it. DD is something you do for mid to longterm investments. If I said XXX just
traded 3 million shares has risen 30% and had significant momo...would knowing the
next AGM was going to include a revamp of the production facility for the wiggits they
make, prevent you from buying the daytrade?"

Agreed again Chief. The DD I do if any is very quick.I check CSW for last 3 months close and ranges and the chart. Also scan the most recent news releases and quickly check to see if a thread on SI.I try and do this if I have time and in some cases do it after I have bought.(Takes less than 2 minutes)

Most trading is MOMO based on infilling of bids and trending.Watching momentum and volume and always watching MD.I plan on being out of the stock before the end of the day so intense DD is useless during the day.If news pops up during the day that may be significant I may hold overnight but rarely.MOMO is the key.

DD - we do that after we are in and maybe think we might keep some. It is rare but I sometime keep my 10 - 20% profit as shares. That is when I do more detailed DD.

Or after I daytrade a stock and unload everything I do some DD and buy back a few keepers

EDIT - On teh 2 minute DD - I always do the following
check the last 10 days - pull up a 1 year chart - the day chart, the 5 day chart. Check the last twop weeks of NRs then the last year ( just the headlines) click on any of interest. maybe chech=k the House positions for the day.
I generally dont have time to check SI.

look at the day chart again - have the MD ticker going and make a decision
