Thanks for the quick response.

I just downloaded the newest build of SEOL and I have been checking it out. Too bad SEOL doesn't do options :(

Finding a monthly service for under $100 has been a chore.

PCQUOTE - $75, stocks, options, up to 3000 symbols per page,
no charting unless you upgrade to the $150 package. Exchange
fees included in the price! Data integrity is questionable ?

SEOL - ~$115 (including exch fees), stocks, NO options, charting,
most active list. Well rounded service and software is simplier
than Real Tick III and better for the beginner or average investor.
Real Tick III is good, but I am amazed at how much useless things
they put in there and off the wall naming conventions. Bizarre !

Come to think of it, I wasn't doing so bad with the "poor-man"
setup...

Medved Quotetracker software (FREE !!!)
Subject 22551

Choose your real time data source, Marketsmart (~$22) or Marketwatch ($35) seemed to be the best out of the choices, Marketsmart being the faster snapshot quote service. Intraday delayed/Historical charts, FREE at www.bigcharts.com

Drawback... slow.... about 75% - 85% reliable using sed data sources..

Since I'm on a roll, here is some ideas. Real Tick III unlocks
the portions of the software that you signed up for. Would
it not be better for the consumer just to have ONE choice for
an online service instead of StockEdge/Signal/What-not/etc. ?
tooo confusing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine this, one online service, lets call it Black Box Online real time stocks quotes. When you sign up, click the boxes for the options that you want, example;

Black Box sign up page, the basic monthly fee is $50. Select
the optional services that you want to sign up for;

Check boxes
NYSE $5.00 [ ]
AMEX $5.00 [ ]
NASD $5.00 [ ]
NAS Level 2 $50 [ ]
Options $10 [ ]
Futures $10 [ ]
Charting $10 [ ]
News $10 [ ]
Symbol limit of 50 stocks $25 [ ]
Symbol limit of 500 stocks $50 [ ]
Unlimited symbols $75 [ ]
etc....
etc....

When you login, the software unlocks the options you signed-up for. Similar to Real Tick III.

SIMPLE ! <g>

If SEOL was this way, I would pick stocks, options and 50 symbols
and disregard the charting option, I would be a customer right now,
but SEOL doesn't do options <g>

P.S. Ooops.. forgot --> Dancing girls... $50 [ ]
