Vendit, I am sure you are right. AOL will go up. I am not a long-term investor. However, I do look closely at macro-economics and long-term stock trends. There are warning signs which do not necessarily mean anything. Interest rates are showing some disturbing signs. Technically, the long-term trend is intact, but short-medium term, doesn't look as strong. I think there are other investors on the thread who are short-termers. So I guess I am just airing my views to get everyone's opinion. It is not my intent to cause any long-termers to change their positions, just want to hear what all others are feeling and learn something new. I hope that doesn't cause any consternation.

Yoda, well said. Excluding macro economic events, what conditions would cause you to move out of AOL (long-term)?

I'm thinking that there are at least three major factors: 1) access to the service is constrained; 2) convergence of media does not go AOL's way; and/or 3) their growth rate declines for the wrong reasons (e.g. market share loss vs. tough comparison/large base).

So far so good. I've been long two years. Your thoughts?
