Hi Rick, And thank you for the additional info.It does sound as though it's just as well that i couldn't access it as Check mentioned,if they have done such a poor reporting job.It's a shame that our 3 little jv's never even got a mention..But folks all over will be hearing of them soon enough is what i'm thinking!! Thank you also for providing the additional info. As i understood it, they were going to drill right alongside the blowout wellbore with the relief well for the last approx.150'.Then case and cement this last small section which would mean that the relief well is cased and cemented completely from top to bottom.Then this last approx.150'section would be perforated into the blowout wellbore. After that,i do not know how they will proceed to further the kill.Also,whether this will be the method utilized or not,i cannot say for sure. But i do know that it will sure be good news when the kill is finally sucessful!!(regardless of how it is done!!) chat again..lonepine ps-i'm with you!-i think they got their #'s in reverse when they stated a 20% success est.for ELH. It's got to be at LEAST 80% imho!!<ggg>
