I agree Ruby tends to shoot from the hip without any backing for the numbers, but also agree with his $100., the question is when?? this year or next?
IFM predicted double last years revenue of 75M for yr99. 1st quarter had to be in the 35-40M range , which it was, 37M. Very important as they are on the predicted growth path.
Also, IFM is not a twin of CKFR, maybe some long distant relative or something like that. IFM revenue is mainly for now from e-commerce. they have some revenue from banks such as Royal from CANACT for several years but this is check clearing as they do in Britain and S. Africa etc. E-Bill will come from their acquisition of e-finance div. of Newstar who has relationship with Transpoint- and by the way won the major Canadian e-bill contract with e-route. This will be in full production begining of yr2000. This will drive the revenues to the billion$ revenues that IFM are targeting. Their target for billion$ was (I believe) yr 2002. But e-bill will bring it to billion$ by end of yr2000.IMO.
What is good is IFM is profitable- oops they said dont expect any profits as all revenues will be used for acquisitions etc for next couple of yrs. But IFM are revenue generating in other areas while they get ther e-bill set up. I hope the acquisition they make is additive to the bottom line.
I believe they know who the next one is but will not say until BCE gets its act together as to who they are associating with in the US. IFM said they are in discussions with several US Cos last 21Jan at the ASM.
We will have to wait to see how much is allocated to Emergis, I bet they have that all figured out also, but again BCE has to know who they are associating with or buying. Maybe still looking for that portal as stated previously.
Lots of interesting things should be occuring shortly. Its better to be in than miss the e-com missle.
