Who said Aldrich Ames was a white wash that went wrong, whatever that means? The signs were clear, and the CIA ignored it all. You can raise whatever questions you want about the China nuclear leak, but as near as I can see, the damage caused by any delay in the Clinton administration is nothing compared to the damage that preceded any such delay. It does make for another friendly outing for the Clinton hatred industry, though. How unusual that everybody in this fetid forum would be up on that particular angle, while paying no particular attention to how and when the real damage was done. I guess that's the way it goes, when the decline of the West is due to Clinton.
