Thanks. I post the same arguments about once a year about when the bear distortions about Zip reliability reach a peak. Every year my list of failed hardware grows, but so far, (knock on wood) Zip hasn't made the list. When it does, I will report it.

To summarize rather pedantically: 1) remember that all hardware eventually fails. 2) before purchasing, be sure to check the warranty and then 3) check the statistical failure rates. Don't just settle for anecdotal claims, regardless of the perceived veracity of the claimant. And most importantly, 4) DO THE BACKUPS !
