Thanks Barry, I have mellowed a lot and in fact, am not fond of conflict anymore at all. I see it all as so counter-productive and mean-spirited. It got so bad on SI a few months ago, that some good people were fighting with other good people. Everybody's bad side was coming out.

What was ironic is that even though there was some consistently outrageous hyping going on (and some instances of uncalled for scare tactics and bashing by a few others) all that MOST of us wanted was to have good DD and balanced, honest postings.

But the more one group hyped, the more another bashed and vice versa.

Now, you tell me, but I think the majority of us have tried to become better at exercising the "good karma begets good karma" creed.

No one is perfect and sometimes there is a fine line between honest enthusiasm (and sometimes honest over-enthusiasm) and hyping, just as there is a fine line between being realistic or cynical about a company's current state and giving the perception of bashing.

I know that so many of us got carried away in a war of words before (and it almost surfaced again tonight.....ugh!) and it just was not pleasant.

There are lots of us that were misunderstood then and perhaps still are. And I may be naive, but I think things are better now than they were. Not perfect but better.

PS---
Actually my TYPING is atrocious...I was the spelling champion of the 6th grade many centuries ago...lol!

My current carpel's combined with goofing off in typing class in HS are the problems now.

Dragon Speak is on order. Hopefully it will arrive soon!
