Speaking of DSL. Just installed mine this weekend. Very nice. Go2Net pages are as fast as I can click :-)

Regarding UMG, I'm a bit worried about T getting control over so many home pipes. I remember the days of their monopoly (when the word was used appropriately). That was a company I do not wish to recreate. Unfortunately, it looks like they're in the process of rebuilding their monopoly while avoiding the regulatory issues. As far as the impact to GNET, I don't think that the major effect will hit for a year or two. At that point, it will depend on how well GNET has been integrated into other access and service systems. It will also depend on the success of Hypermart, SI, Playsite, and other services in Go2Net's portfolio.

WRT the lawsuit, I strongly believe that Go2Net cannot be liable as a publisher of all the content on SI. I am not an attorney, but I have had my share of experience with various legal issues. If anyone has an opinion on this issue, I'd really appreciate it if they state their qualifications to state a legal opinion. Opinions of those who are not legally qualified, such as myself, are basically irrelevant.

Thanks,

Mike
