Ahhhhh... Back in the cockpit again. There's nothing like time off to recharge the batteries. Keith...I have Metastock up and running. I can honestly say that I regret not doing this sooner. The Explorer is simply amazing. WOW WOW WOW! What a timesaver! I've only run one simple exploration which spits out the short-term momentum situations that I've looked for "manually" all these years. I look for stocks with uptrending 40-day MAs and use weakness to go long. Conversely, in shorting I look for strength in stocks with downtrending 40-day MAs: Longs: Linear Regression Slope [CLOSE,40] > 0 Shorts: Linear Regression Slope [CLOSE,40] < 0 It'll take a lot of time to learn even the basics, but I'm already terribly impressed by all of this. HBC is one that came up on my list. Take a look. WN
