Most here just don't get it. It's not about shorting or going long or making $$. It's all about right and wrong. It's just that simple (for once). Golly, you're an altruist here to save us! I build most of my algorithms with Mathematica and encase them within C/C++ code. I get bored easily doing the same 'ol stuff - so I've turned to the markets for a new challenge. It's quite interesting - but I dare say I'll get bored with that eventually. Chaos theory and artificial neural networks will be my next port of call. David, you're truly an idiot, although one who tries to impress everyone as if you're some intellect. By the way chaos theory and neural networks are nothing new, many a futures trader has blazed this trail. Better master the basics first.
