True, but they put men on the moon with slide rules.

Calculators were just coming in when I went to college. The seniors all packed slide rules, and had nothing but disdain for the punk freshmen and their calculators. THe campus computer was about the size of a small bus and stored in an enviromentally sealed room attended by the high priests from the computer lab.
Mere mortals couldn't even look at it. I had to make an appointment
just to feed my stack of data cards into a reader for my computer project. I had to wait a week for the results and my whole project crashed cause one card had one misplaced comma.
It took me three months to find that damn comma <<GG>>
Times have surely changed
