See, this is why I brought it up. I tend to think conceptually, and I rarely have the patience to ferret out all of the details that can make or break an idea, but I know that you're impressively detail-oriented, so I figured I could throw that one to you and get back the details I was lacking. Thanks. The only point I might differ with is the "war against terrorism as an excuse for oppression" thing. I just think it's a contrived and deliberately inflammatory thing to send settlers into disputed land, then punish those who react. It reminds me of a drunk in a bar sticking his chin out and saying "Come on, hit me." It's clearly an attempt to start a fight. If that's the way they want to handle it, I guess that's their right, but they can't then say "Well they started it."

But anyway... it's been a long day, and I'm about done. I continue to hope that we aren't starting World War III, but I find it harder to remain hopeful every day.

Peace and happiness to you and yours,

-BLT
