Hey JBL, it's good to post at you again. Hope you've been well. I've seen that you've been busy, but I just fell back into this particular addiction recently and this is the first time we've crossed paths since I've been back. So...

Greeting the new day on three hours sleep, thought I'd check in briefly, and I find this wonderful gift from Stratfor (I love Stratfor, they're one of the only information outlets I trust). This gives me hope. An isolationist United States is such a wonderful prospect. Imagine a reprieve from being the world's self-appointed policemen. Maybe (not too loud, wouldn't want to jinx it), maybe we can just be a chunk of particularly pretty land full of fairly decent people and stop worrying about what the rest of the world's doing and concentrate on our own civilization for awhile. That'd be a good thing.

It'll be ironic if all of this works out okay for us. That'll mean that Bill Clinton has blundered his way into success yet again. Even in abject failure you can't keep him down.

But I don't know, maybe the world's still on the short road to ruin and it's just the three hours of sleep making me gullible and wistful.

Oh and Daniel, if you're reading this; Bill Clinton is not the cause of our decline, he's merely a symptom. Just thought I'd point that out while I was sort of on the subject.

-BLT
