bugsy - we have had many coversations on how MD is to only be used as a guide and it is only one of the may tools we use. ND san ofetn be misleading - It may not show big all or none orders or conversely it may show big orders o either side that are only there to creat appearances.

On fast moving stocks the floor traders are generally not placing limit orders which is what the depth shows but they are using market orders whichnever show up and only hit the orders already in place.

I use it as a price ticker - I like having the MD ticker going for one or two stocks - If something starts to move you will see it keep changing coulour every time the orders or the price changes so in a fast mcoing one it stays that colour.

once youhave these tools you will wonder why how you ever did without them. trading without market depth and RT would be like trying play golf without clubs and balls
