uncle, TA is just a model, and the "picture" I have painted is just that a "picture". The pattern of this stock resembles many other stocks that behaved like that in the past. What longs should do is their own decision. I have attempted a response to that same question within the last two weeks, and said that if you have a three to four years time horizon, you should hold tight and just do no sell when the despair is deepest. One could use some covered option writing strategy to lower overall cost of ownership, but the risk of having the stock taken away is always there, unless you are "nimble".

At most, this picture could be used as guideline with that part of your holdings you trade in an out.
