Hello Gemsearcher. First off I must stress to you that TA is NOT 100% full proof. Elliot Waves, Fibonacci indicators, Candle Sticks, Long range background Charts, resistance zones, trading Ranges, Tarot cards, My wife's Cheesecake Batter drippings <ggg>, etc.,etc. can all change quickly. I have seen many good looking charts that have turned within Seconds due to some circumstances with the company, Management or market conditions. For instance SUF is on a current down trend. What if first thing in the a.m. SUF, IAR and KLA are all halted and the News is that SUF has intersected 800 Meters from Three seperate angles of Kimberlite with Visable diamonds in the core (I must admit that CJ would never use the "Visable Diamonds in Core" statement). But this would be major news and a major discovery in any diamond experts books. Well the laws of supply and demand would be out of whack here and SUF would quickly reverse the trend and gap up nicly ( Just Like last June). The volume would be out of this world. Not many would be willing to sell but many would be willing to buy. Resistence zones are broken with volume and laws of supply/demand going out of whack either way. The beautiful thing with the SUF chart is that MAJOR gap-up occur when volume is above average for several days (look at last June , Sept. and Dec.). This is telling us that not many speculators, traders, day flippers are really playing with this stock. Heck most days SUF's volume is around 80,000. I was almost positive two weeks (When I bought back in) ago that the trend was reversed. The signs were all their. The market viewed this latest news as SUF getting away from their core business of diamonds and a sell off took place. I see (as many on here) that we have very strong support at $4.50. I feel that any day we will have another gap-up to that $5.70 range and the uptrend reversed. Hope that this answered your questions! I must stress to you that I'm really not good at explaining things and I apologies if anything has been unanswered and isn't all that clear. fIXER
