JLA, I still think that the Independent Counsel Statute has got to go, and there are many professionals within the Justice Department, I am sure, who could investigate such matters. It is the Congress which must take the responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the investigation...and no, I had missed the business about the promotion...

I was fishing with a friend today who brought up the point that most of the stolen nuke secrets and especially the most damaging ones were worthless without a Cray computer. As I remember Clinton pulled some strings to send 6 Crays to china for "Medical" research.
