CORRECTION: *Compaq Cuts Prices On V500 To $235 From $245

HOUSTON -- Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ) cut prices on its 17-inch V75 and 15-inch V500 monitor models.

In a press release Monday, the company said it is reducing the price on its 17-inch V75 monitor to $374 from $425, and on its 15-inch V500 monitor to $235 from $245.
