One post that mentions it is in the Last Mile thread: Message 9265203 During the past several months, there has been hedging on their part, indicating that they would go with switched first, in their first several penetrations until the voip platforms were perfected. But now it seems that they have reached a temporary impasse altogether with quality and logistics issues. I suspect that the move to an all IP environment, all at once in those systems, would be somewhat traumatic for them to endure without guarantees on quality, and without the proper gateways being in place yet to allow for a total substitution of advanced information networking (AIN) systems, as we have now on the PSTN.
