Chi-X,

I believe that AOL, MSFT and Media One have until Thursday to counter T's bid so it ain't over 'till it's over.

MediaOne, the No. 3 U.S. cable company, said AT&T's cash and stock offer was a ''superior proposal'' to Comcast's proposal. Under the terms of the original Comcast-MediaOne agreement, Comcast has until Thursday to respond with a counteroffer.

MediaOne Accepts AT&T Takeover, Ends Comcast Pact - this is really big and bad news for AOL.
Kinda the first step in nailing the coffin shut on a long term scale. AOL really needed access to the
cable modem market and lost it big today.

Chi-X hath Spoken!

If you read more carefully, you'd see that Comcast has until Thursday to sweeten their bid. This game isn't over. You should read and understand more, before you hath speak! :-)
