I think that Russia's just France's straw man: think about how weak is the diplomatic influence of a country who begs a couple of billions of $ every quarter! I can't help smiling when I listen to the local media: ''we should bring back Russia to the negotiation table!''... ''Russia is SO important!''... ''Where's Russia?? Let'em broker a peaceful agenda with their fellow Serbs!'' Obviously the Russians play the game and Chernomyrdin will eagerly present the ''Russian'' agenda to Bill Clinton... Meanwhile, the French and the Germans will anxiously bide their time.
