Ramsey Su: I remember when brokerage firms lowered the initial account opening balance to 5K. I thought that was low and would bring in a lot of folks that did not know what they were doing.

As of late in checking for new brokerage services, I have noted many are only requiring 2K, 1K and I “hear” E*Trade will let you get started now with just 500 dollars.

No wonder the savings rate is way down. Everyone is in the Markets. It does not matter if you know what you're doing...<g> You got 500 bucks no problem, step right into the largest gambling casino in the world...

When she blows, the garbage trucks will stop, taxicabs will stop, there will be now one at the 7/11 counter and the paperboy will not make it by your residence that day...everyone will be trying to call their broker...<ggg>

Ramsey: The DOW is approaching record highs again, but the NAZ and the NDX are not moving. As a matter of fact, they got close to the 10 day EMA or hit it and are hovering just below it. It will be interesting to see if they will be able to break this barrier and stay above it today. If they do, I believe that there might be some more on the upside. But if they can't, then there will be more sell offs.

Regards,

Jaime
