Do your homework! You have the above backward, it's ATHM that wants to buy RR.

Chi-X,

I believe you may have your facts confused. ATHM is much larger than RR, in fact, I believe the number is 4X based on installed customers. T owns controlling interest in ATHM through TCI....much how AOL would have interest in Media One via Comcast. There will not be a buy-out of any kind, if anything there may be a merger of ATHM and RR if T were to have controlling interest in both. I believe that it would be much better for AOL shareholders not to dilute the shares further, let the situation shake itself out, then capitalize on the victor via agreements. This way AOL wins no matter what......and they have access to ALL the cable operators, not just Comcast/Media one. There will not be a buy-out of ATHM because of T's controlling interest.
