why is internet sector so weak when the primary trend is up isn't internet the leader to advance

The Primary Trend refers to the ultimate direction the market is moving in... Sometimes it is powered by a narrow group of stocks (internets), and sometimes it's powered by the broader market... Now, the up move is reflecting a move by the broader market... More stocks are participating in the move across a broader spectrum than just Computers and the Internet... As such, the Primary Trend can be up even though the former Internet high flyers are not currently participating... This is actually healthy because the broader market is more fairly valued than the Internet sector at this time...
