Bearish on LRW too:

Results too good to be true. After doing my DD, I
understand now why analysts so missed earnings.

It seems that last year there was a real seasonality
factor in their revenue and earnings. Jan-Mar. quarter
is winter and little construction goes on in winter
and a big segment that LRW caters to is the construction
industry. So last year, estimates were -.03 and actual
was .01.

So this year, analysts assume seasonality factor continues
Estimates for 1Q99 were .02. But, lo and behold, actual
comes in at .16 Absolutely amazing. Too good to be true??
Or was there a lot of construction going on in much of the
country in Jan-Mar due to a light winter? Or has LRW found
other segments to make up for the demand for temps by
construction in the winter?

I am not sure. But, I plucked down some dough and now own
some LRWQGs

Would be interested in any other take on why LRW blew out estimates?
"Blew out" is mild. Beat estimates by 1700%!!!
