I don't know where you can get a "decent" video card for $25, "decent" speakers for $5, or a "decent" 17" monitor for $200. Maybe the same place you were able to obtain a "decent" case, sound card, keyboard, and floppy for only $70.

I think you're underestimating a little per component. And all these little underestimations really do add up. Believe me, I've looked around when this one friend approached me and wanted a system custom-built for less than $700 including monitor.

Technically, you can only use the software and OS on one computer. So if you're a boxmaker, better add some more for each box that you sell with Windows 98.
