Bearcatbob, my "angle" on Pinnacle Oil and "propaganda":

Bearcatbob: What is my short term stake in Pinnacle? Nothing. I am an investor. I bought my stock over the past couple of years a little at a time to average in. In the process I have done an enormous amount of due diligence. (Like I try to do with any investment I make.) I am not involved with the company in any way, shape or form. I rarely think short term, so there is little short term upside for me. I think long term. If Pinnacle is the technology I think it is, I will probably sell a small part of my position at $100 to buy myself a treat, then keep the rest forever. Propaganda, you mention? Whatever floats your boat. In my opinion, this has gone on for too long, with too many smart people involved, and too many positive developments over that time for this to be a fraud. I do value your opinion as to what kind of credibility the following bring: Dan Topolinski, #3 at Renaissance joining the company as President (of course Dan was in charge of all the testing of the SFD at Renaissance over the past nearly 2 years), Jim Eherts joining from CamWest (again the one who did the testing and exploration at CamWest on the SFD), partnerships with Encal, Renaissance Energy, and CamWest, investments by Stephens Group (Little Rock investment bankers and 3rd largest producer of natural gas in the U.S.), and now with this private placement with some other very credible investors. If I knew nothing else that would be enough to make me wonder what was going on, but of course I do know a lot more thanks to all times I have talked to the partners. This is "propaganda" to you?

Toowit and CIMA, re: pinnacle comments

Toowit: What can I say? Turning down a free 8% gross override on Anticosti Island with no risk tells you PSFD is very confident in the SFD technology predicting that those holes were duds. I talked to the Encal boys on that one, got the story from them. PSFD realized that at that time they had the opportunity to risk their reputation and that of the SFD and be greedy taking a free 8% despite what the SFD predicted, or show their confidence in the SFD. They chose principles over greed. I also understand that CamWest turned down an offer to go into Anticosti Island based purely on the SFD, ignoring all of the great seismic work that was done their by others. Shows you what CamWest thinks of the SFD too.

CIMA: Thanks for the info on Shoal Point rumor. I guess I am leery of info that sounds like it is coming from a promoter or someone with a vested interest in getting the rumor out. The guys at Encal tell me Shoal Point is a very complicated structure with lots of faulting etc., so I don't think the results are going to be so readily interpretted. I am guessing more fuzzy results that point to further exploration, but definitely not something that causes everyone to abandon the area. Keeping my fingers crossed.
