Dear Mr. Gilder, MFNX is Metromedia Fiber Network, listed on NASDAQ, website www.mmfn.com. Motley Fool had a special feature, Stocks for Mom,written so Mom could understand. It stated that MFNX is building fiber optic networks in major US cities, some European cities, and laying fiber optic cable in ground. The three things they highlighted about MFNX...1) they lease fiber at a flat rate....2) it goes to the "last mile" 3) it has more strands per line now at 500 and will increase to 1000 Thank you for answering and your opinion!! debra
