Howdy Pals, so the Dow hit 11,000 but today no celebrations at the empty fairgrounds as a show of respect and family necessity...seeing just one perfect solo folksinger playing an old Hummingbird guitar "C'mon people now, Smile On Your Brother, everybody get together try to love one another right now". This dayjob usually takes me 4X the hours it took today, zipped right through it when paying only minimum attention to stocks and making obvious decisions quickly (fed my blue chips & added some IBM to my techfolio, still got plenty powder, ba-da-bing)...and it didn't take much time with other matters on the agenda. Wrote some emails, visited a friend in the hospital, got around the town and talked with some other parents I ran into, spent calm home time with teenager. It seems like many folks have a timely project these days focusing on attacking spoilers of our culture and corrupters of our kids from different directions. Would like to take this moment to say how I appreciate this board and you folks so much - wouldn't know your faces if I stood next to you on line at the supermarket but we seem to grok together quite well cyberly. Looking forward to plenty of future time on Techride for the usual electricbrain stockstuff, bargain hunting, and rally celebrations; also look forward to knowing when times like these come along - all of you got Too Much Soul to simply ignore It hoping It goes away.
Glad to know you, you're The Best People.
Yer pal,
Joan
